LEMMINGS KITESURFING CLUB RULES 2010

1.         Anyone kitesurfing at Lemmings will have to be a club member and pay the appropriate membership fees whether Full, Non-entitled or Temporary membership.

2.         All club members are responsible for their own kit and safety of others. It is your responsibility to check the condition of your kite, lines and harness. If you have any doubts then don't surf or check with an instructor. All surfers must wear a safety leash or use the appropriate safety system fitted to your kite.

3.         All surfers must be aware of the water priority rules and international kiteboarding signs. Please use the links on this website and refresh your memory if you have forgotten.

4.         Please remain clear of the Lemmings swimming area (by at least 10 metres - HQ BFC Rule) and kite training zones. If you are not familiar with the surfing area then get a brief from the chief kitesurfing instructor. Always give way to students having lessons and be aware of those who are of a less standard than yourself.

5.         Know your limits - if it's blowing more than you can handle then don't surf or use a smaller kite. It's better to be safe than wrapped up in the bushes or club house!

6.         Lastly, help one another and be safe. There is plenty of water and room for everyone!
