Our club operates from Lemmings beach, which is a southerly facing beach approximately 800m length, and is situated in place called Happy Valley!  We are positioned in an area of coastline belonging to one of the British owned SBAs - Sovereign Base Areas.

 

Before the year 2000 (and when it was windy!), Lemmings beach was predominately used for windsurfing; however, with the sport of kitesurfing evolving rapidly throughout the world, its popularity soon began to grow amongst the British Forces community here in Cyprus.  Over the last 7 years Lemmings Kitesurfing Club has established itself as a dedicated kitesurfing facility for British Forces personnel and is fortunate to operate from one of the best kitesurfing beaches on the island of Cyprus.

Today, the club has a thriving community of kitesurfers from all levels of experience and, for those who want to learn the sport, offers Kitesurfing lessons by IKO trained instructors.  We have a good range of kit and a recently established club house with all the training facilities required to get you up and going.

The club runs IKO based training courses throughout the summer months (Apr - Oct) and continues to operate during the winter months where members meet either at the club or other surfing spots close by, depending upon the wind and wave conditions.
